TO ADOPT THE FOLLOWING BYLAW:

No. 54-2024

On March 12, 2024, Westlock County Council passed First Reading of Bylaw No. 54-2024 being a Bylaw to amend the Westlock County’s Land Use Bylaw No. 04-2016 to provide for the following:

Proposed in the existing Land Use Districts:

Agriculture (AG), Urban General (UG), Highway Commercial (HC) and Industrial (M)

Proposed Amendment:

To propose existing land use classes in four (4) land use districts and recommend application requirements and regulations for consideration of inclusion into the Westlock County Land Use Bylaw (LUB) 04-2016 to enable the development of Microbreweries and Distilleries.

Westlock County Council will hold a Public Hearing to provide the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed Bylaw prior to its adoption. Public is welcome to attend in person or via Zoom, the link for the zoom meeting is:

The Bylaw may be viewed at the Westlock County Administration Office during regular office hours. To make a submission, you may do so to the Westlock County Administration Office prior to 4:30pm on April 3, 2024.
